However by no means has this semester been a failure. Of my highlights, I have met some very peculiar and interesting people all throughout the past few months and have greatly benefited from their insight, as well as become friends with some and merely acquaintances with others. Of all the people I have met, I would like to give a shout out to "Redeemed" life group of HMCC. Honest to say, all of you beautiful people have truly revived my spirit for when I was thirsty, you have given me water. :)
As for foresight, things seem to be unraveling quite pleasantly. It is indeed time for optimism, as some omens may suggest. My beloved Chicago Bulls are 6-1 at home, November had the lowest unemployment since the recession began, my physical sickness is beginning to die away and to top it off, there is only 1 week before I am reunited with my family. Although the pressure to perform and lets say to deliver positive performance in my academics still burdens me. I truly believe now there is hope and promise as I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
For all you Northwestern and Loyola students, and whoever else, that have finals, tough times, struggles and endeavors marked on the coming weeks of the calendar, my prayers and hopes go out to you. Also thanks, to the 357 visitors of my blog, for giving me hope to even keep this site still running. I am truly blessed and have a heart of thanksgiving!
My priorities are clear.
